PL Optics DWT-R PTFE diffuse reflectance target offers >99% Lambertian reflectance (200–2500 nm) calibrated for instrument calibration.
?An Integrating Sphere is a hollow spherical cavity whose inner wall is coated with a white diffuse-reflectance material, also known as a photometric sphere or Ulbricht sphere. One or more apertures in the sphere wall serve as the light-input port and detector port. The interior is coated with an ideal diffuse reflector—such as PTFE foam coating or gold plating—mixed with a binder and sprayed onto the wall. With >99% reflectance across the visible spectrum, incoming light undergoes multiple reflections, creating a uniform irradiance on the inner surface.
?The DWT-R Diffuse Reflectance Standard Whiteboard is precision-molded from imported PTFE, offering waterproof performance and resistance to yellowing or powder loss over time. It serves as the Lambertian reference for 200–2500 nm wavelengths. Calibrated by the National Institute of Metrology with spectral reflectance data, it provides a standard reference for measuring the optical properties of other samples.
